I am a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi. My degree is in Elementary Education K-8th.

Experience

I have been teaching for 30 years and tutoring 13 years. Currently, I am a 5th grade language arts teacher at Flowood Elementary, but most of my teaching experience has been in Jr. Kindergarten, Sr. Kindergarten, and First Grade. It brings me great joy to help struggling children build self-confidence in their academics. It makes me very happy to have a child come back to me smiling and telling me all about the great grades they received that week.
